Rule Of Thirds: Soil Composition


Soil needs 3 components:


  1. Sand: Good for drainage
  2. Clay: Good for holding nutrients so they are not all washed away by rain
  3. Dead Matter: dead animals like slugs, worms, beetles etc. and dead leaves, flowers etc. - Provides nutrients for plant growth.
